Sea Turtle Hatchery
The Sea Turtle Hatchery is a non - profitable activity which is maintained for the survival of sea turtles for next generation. There are five varieties of sea turtles found in Sri Lanka. Namely Olive ridley turtle, Loggerhead turtle, Green turtle, hawksbill turtle and leatherhead turtle.
Madu River Boat Safari
Madu River is located in Balapitiya. It has high Ecological, Biological and aesthetic Significance, beign home to 303 species of plants belonging to 95 families and to 248 species of animals. It is one of the last remaining tracts of untouched mangroves forest in Sri Lanka.
